"Scum & Sinners, Pots & Kettles"

Matthew 9:9-13

Jesus scandalizes His community by calling one of “those people,” a tax collector to be His disciple.  He confounds His critics by going to the man’s house, eating a meal there, and socializing with other scum who are friends of Matthew.  But Jesus rises above it all as the Lord of Love.
